Pour 4-6oz. of water into the tray
Raise the shut-off arm to the off position and wait 2-3 hours
After the waiting period lower the shut-off arm back into the “on” position. The icemaker may recycle and refill. If it does, repeat the process every 2 hours, if the icemaker does not continue cycling after the initial prime , then it is recommended you contact your local service agent.
If the ice maker ejects the primer and completes the rotation cycle, but the water does not dispense on command then it is water intake problems.
Ice Tube Blockage
There are a few reasons why the ice tube may be blocked. Here are some common causes of ice tube blockage.
The most common cause behind blockage is a defective solenoid valve. Other common issues include plumbing work being done on the house. If so, set the shut-off arm to the off position while the water is turned off. This will prevent
Water Intake Problems
Sometimes, water intake problems may be the ice maker itself. If the inlet tube is clear of frozen water then the problem is overfill:
Turn off the ice maker via the on/off switch or move the shut-off arm to the off position
If the water stops, the icemaker is holding the valve open too long. However if, the water continues flowing with the ice maker shut off then the solenoid is in disrepair and needs replacing. It is recomended to contact your local service agent.
Leaking Ice Tray
If you suspect the ice tray is leaking, then check the you will see water in either the ice bucket or the mounting bracket. Typically these molds last 4-5 years. If this is the case then it is recommended you to replace the mold or contact your local service agent for more information about replacement of the ice maker, which may be more cost effective.

If you notice icicles on the dispenser or a sheet of ice in the ice bucket, then it is more than likely the ice mold. First try lowering the water-fill level located on the front of the ice maker.
If the problem persists, then it problem may be the ice mold at which point it is recommended to contact your local service agent.
